The Tip Sheet summarizes key challenges and recommended actions related to linkages between GBV and PSEA in coordinating and responding to SEA for PSEA and GBV coordinators, and other practitioners. The key challenges and recommended actions were informed by 80 consultations with 105 PSEA/GBV experts across six regions, including regionally based experts and from 26 countries1 (including countries from the 35 PSEA priority countries for the IASC) as well as headquarters. In addition, 12 group case management consultations were conducted with 105 people from GBV case management organizations as well as Interaction’s Survivor Support Sub-Working Group, the GBV AoR, and IASC MHPSS Reference Group.

GBV overview 2022 - People in need (PiN) for GBV as per 2022 draft HNO is 5.8 M an increase from 3.5M in 2021 - In 2022, the target is 2.2 M people to be reached with GBV interventions, an increase from 1.1 M in 2021 – (100% increase) - The escalation of conflict in Northern Ethiopia led to a substantial increase of GBV, especially sexual violence across Tigray, Amhara and Afar regions. Response still needs to be strengthened. - In Northern Ethiopia high numbers of sexual violence cases were reported in Tigray, Amhara, and Afar during the conflict period (Reports from the regional bureaus) - GBV response needs are also high in Benishangul Gumuz, Somali, Oromia and SNNP regions as a result of conflict and drought. - Ethiopia currently has 45* one stop centres in the different regions which are core in the GBV response - Ease of access to Tigray for supplies (including dignity kits and RH kits), increase in cash all...

The purpose of this analysis is to access availability of existing GBV response services (health, psychosocial, legal and safety) in Tigray. Objectives; - Identify what care and support services are currently available for GBV survivors, who the service providers are and where the services are located - Develop a directory of services and update the inter-agency referral pathways - Understand the capacity and quality of services - Identify key gaps and capacity building needs of service providers - Ensure effective and efficient multi-sectoral service delivery and coordination

La elaboración del documento “Guía del facilitador: Comprender y aplicar los Estándares Mínimos Interagenciales para la Programación sobre Violencia de Género en Emergencias” corrió a cargo del Equipo de Trabajo del Área de Responsabilidad sobre Violencia de Género bajo el liderazgo de tres copresidentas: Emily Krasnor, del Fondo de Población de las Naciones Unidas (UNFPA); Sarah Cornish-Spencer, del International Rescue Committee; y Catherine Poulton, del Fondo de las Naciones Unidas para la Infancia (UNICEF); y se desarrolló bajo la dirección de Emily Krasnor. Elizabeth Morrissey y Constanze Quosh, de la Oficina del Alto Comisionado de las Naciones Unidas para los Refugiados (ACNUR), también proporcionaron coordinación y apoyo técnico. Inbal Sansani, con el apoyo de Divya Chandran, redactó la Guía del facilitador.
