Join the Global Health Cluster and the READY Initiative in a one-hour webinar to explore the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on gender-based violence (GBV) health services in humanitarian settings.The webinar will share findings and recommendations from the report: Barriers to Gender Based Violence (GBV) health services in humanitarian settings during COVID-19: A desk review from Cox’s Bazar (Bangladesh), Iraq, & Northeast Nigeria. Children’s Voice: Maintaining and Adapting for Safe Child Participation during COVID-19 - GPC Forum 2020
Organized by the CP AoR and the CPC Learning Network, this webinar will present the new ‘Children as Partners in Child Protection during COVID-19 Guide’ with the aim to assist humanitarian actors to maintain and strengthen children’s meaningful participation in their work in response to the current COVID-19 pandemic and in preparedness planning. During the webinar, participants will explore ways how children can be engaged as partners and leaders in child protection during the crisis. Tip sheets and tools that have been adapted for the COVID-19 context will be presented and experiences on meaningfully engaging children will be shared from the field.
