تحدد أداة الصياغة السياقية عملية تطبيق المعايير الدنيا في السياق المحلي للمشاركين. وتهدف أداة الصياغة السياقية إلى دعم المنظمات والشركاء المنفذين لمعايير العنف القائم على النوع االجتماعي لتقييم مكونات إعداد برامج العنف القائم على النوع االجتماعي وتحسينها، والتي يجري تنفيذها في الوقت الراهن ُ ّعد عملية في سياقها المحدد في سبيل تحقيق المعايير الدنيا للعنف القائم على النوع االجتماعي. وربما ت ً في حد ذاتها، حيث إنها تدعم الصياغة السياقية للمعايير الدنيا للعنف القائم على النوع االجتماعي تدخال التفكير، والتخطيط، والتعاون بين أعضاء الفريق والمنظمات والشركاء.
Crisis Continues: GBV Sub-Sector Sudan Situation Brief Update – 16 June 2023

Since 15 April, the number of people in need of GBV services in Sudan has increased by over 1 million to 4.2 million people. The number of individuals targeted for GBV services has increased to 1.3 million. To reach these targeted individuals, the GBV Sub-Sector Sudan has included USD 62.8million in the revised 2023 Humanitarian Response Plan (HRP). As of mid-June, less than 12% of the GBV funding request has been met. During the 19 June 2023 Pledging Conference, the GBV Sub-Sector Sudan encourages donors to consider the GBV implications of the crisis in Sudan and take specific efforts to meet the needs and requests highlighted below.
CRISIS in DRC alarming rates of sexual violence in North Kivu - GBV AoR DRC 2023

Members of the GBV Area of Responsibility (AoR) in DRC, the coordination mechanism for GBV service provision led by UNFPA, have been urgently trying to scale-up services in and around the camps in North Kivu but inadequate funding has severely limited their scope. Only 23% of the GBV response plan is funded; $16M now needed to protect women and girls. A recent mapping exercise revealed that out of the 10 camps assessed, only 4 had basic health and psychosocial support services for survivors. There is also a need for cash and voucher assistance so that women and girls can meet their basic needs.
The Inter-Agency Minimum Standards for Gender-based Violence in Emergencies Programming: Monitoring and Evaluation Framework 2023

The main GBV Minimum Standards document provides details on the 16 Standards, key actions that should be taken to achieve each standard, the minimum indicators needed to measure each standard, guidance notes with further information and tools and resources to support the fulfilment of each standard. This document acts as a complement to the main Minimum Standards guidance and explores potential avenues to monitor and evaluate the achievement of each standard. It is a compilation of current best practices and measurement tools that are available for humanitarian agencies and clusters to employ as they seek to rollout and measure their progress against each standard. Using the definitions and tools included in this document, actors and agencies implementing GBV-specialized programming1 will be able to consistently measure core and recommended indicators related to the standards.
Managing Gender-Based Violence Programs in Emergencies Training Course
International Medical Corps is now accepting applications from emerging GBV specialists for the next eight-day, in-person training titled the ‘Managing Gender-Based Violence Programs in Emergencies Training Course’ tentatively scheduled for 23 June to 1 July, 2022 in Athens, Greece. The training is part of the MGBViE global learning program that aims to increase the number of GBV specialists in complex emergencies and is funded through the U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration. The deadline to apply has been extended to 10th May 2022.

This paper focuses on identifying promising practice from shelter, hosting and alternative care guidance and procedures that mitigate gender-based violence (GBV) risks.

It contains guidance and tips for private accommodation hosts that will help them to mitigate GBV risks for Ukrainian refugee women and girls staying in their accommodation. The paper outlines the GBV risks faced by Ukrainian women and girls and practical DOs and DON’Ts for their hosts to apply which help to mitigate these risks.
