En octubre de 2019 se llevó a cabo en Burundi un taller de tres días que reunió a agentes de VG y AEV, utilizando herramientas que se han desarrollado a nivel mundial en los últimos años. El taller tenía por objeto contextualizar esas herramientas, determinar las buenas prácticas que se estaban aplicando en los proyectos existentes en Burundi y redactar un plan de trabajo común entre los agentes de protección y de AEC.
