The Accountability Framework (AF), informed by a Theory of Change developed by Real Time Accountability Partnership, is based on existing policies, guidelines, and best practice, and for the first time compiles these concrete and validated actions in one place. The Accountability Framework captures responsibilities and mandated actions for different stakeholders based on existing IASC policies, inter-agency guidelines and field-based best practices at global,regional and country-level during each phase of the humanitarian programme cycle (HPC). Intimate Partner Violence and Forced Displacement: From Research to Action
Forced displacement is on the rise. At the end of 2020, there were over 80 million forcibly displaced persons worldwide, doubling since 2010. Although commitments to addressing the crisis are growing, knowledge gaps surrounding the impacts of forced displacement persist, especially in terms of how men and women are affected differently. The World Bank’s Gender Dimensions of Forced Displacement program seeks to bridge some of these gaps by studying how gender inequality interacts with and compounds forced displacement. In the first of four webinars presenting GDFD research findings, World Bank Senior Gender-based Violence Specialist Diana Arango and Harvard’s Dr. Jocelyn Kelly present research on the heightened risks of intimate partner violence among displaced women in Colombia, the DRC, and Liberia. CVA and GBV Online Training, English module: Registration Announcement

The Cash and Voucher Assistance (CVA) and Gender-Based Violence (GBV) online training is a 7-week facilitated online training targeting protection, gender and GBV specialists who are planning to or are encouraged to use CVA in their program to deliver their responses. The course will be delivered, in English, between January 10th and February 27 th 2022. Priority will be given to applicants working in the MENA region, particularly in the following countries: Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Turkey, Palestine and Iraq. To express interest in participating in the English module, please fill out the registration form by December 6 th.
