Guidance to Gender-Based Violence Coordinators Addressing the Needs of Male Survivors of Sexual Violence in GBV Coordination - GBV AoR 2021

This guidance note is intended to guide gender-based violence (GBV) coordinators in their work on addressing sexual violence against men and boys in humanitarian coordination. The GBV AoR recognises the importance of ensuring that referral pathways, standard operating procedures and needs assessments include and address the needs of male survivors of sexual violence, and that all relevant humanitarian sectors are engaged in meeting these needs2 .

Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) Specialist- Consultancy

WHO seeks a consultant to update and revise draft WHO guidance for mental health practitioners on feminist, survivor-centred approaches to mental health intervention for GBV survivors in humanitarian settings. The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in development of guidelines and other evidence based tools and training materials for health care providers and in implementing mental health and psychosocial interventions with survivors of gender-based violence, including in emergency contexts.
