The GBV Officer MGBViE will devote 100% effort to the PRM-funded project: Building Capacity and Community through the GBV AoR: the MGBViE Learning Program. This project is dedicated to continued support of the MGBViE initiative, first conceived in 2008 and implemented in different stages since 2010.

Gender-Based Violence In Emergencies Specialist - Kabul, Afghanistan
Under the overall guidance of the Representative and the direct supervision and guidance of the Deputy Representative, the Gender-based Violence in Emergencies Specialist provides leadership and advice on all aspects related to planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting of UNFPA Afghanistan’s GBV interventions, including identifying opportunities for partnerships and resource mobilization. The GBV in Emergencies Specialist heads the GBV team and is expected to guide national staff.

Programme Lead - GBViE Learning Coordination
The Programme Lead – GBViE Learning Coordination is a dynamic new role for a GBViE specialist who will have responsibility for leading on the overall management and implementation of this intervention in line with donor, UNFPA and Trócaire standards. This requires a diverse skill set (e.g. grant management, technical GBViE and coordination experience, capacity strengthening skills, participatory learning and facilitation, and resource development).
