GWI's Building GBV Evidence program will be hosting a four-part webinar series over this year to dive deeper into gaps and opportunities around GBV research in humanitarian settings. Please join us for the second session, “Finding the Path Forward: Highlighting Marginalized Refugee Women and Girls’ Experiences of GBV in the Global South,” on Thursday, February 17, 2022, at 9am EST.
As part of a coordinated response to gender-based violence (GBV), UNFPA and its partners provide cash assistance within a structured GBV case management process to survivors. UNFPA and its country offices will share their experiences showing how cash can be dignifying, discreet, and flexible, and help survivors escape violence and violent relationships.
The purpose of the role is to provide technical assistance to the Pacific Humanitarian and Development Programmes and IPPF Member Associations (MAs) on Sexual and Gender Based Violence (SGBV), gender and inclusion programming and represent the Federation in regional and global fora. Reporting to the Humanitarian Deputy Director, the successful candidate will be a member of the IPPF Humanitarian team as well as the broader Pacific Regional Programme team.
