Activé en décembre 2020, le sous-cluster (AoR) VBG du Burkina Faso est le plus jeune de la région d’Afrique de l'Ouest et Centrale. En plus de la coordination nationale à Ouagadougou, l'AoR VBG est opérationnel dans cinq régions. Il compte 37 membres actifs dont 03 agences des Nations Unies, 16 ONGI et 17 ONG nationales. Le gouvernement et l'UNFPA assurent le co-leadership, la co-facilitation est assurée avec soit une ONG internationale ou une ONG nationale.

Gender-Based Violence in Emergencies (GBViE) Guidance Note - CARE International

CARE’s Gender-Based Violence in Emergencies (GBViE) Guidance Note aims to help staff understand how CARE programs address GBV in emergency settings. It outlines what resources are available to support programming and is accompanied by four implementation guides.

Consultant: Supporting uptake of survivor-centered practice for mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) interventions with gender-based violence (GBV) survivors in humanitarian settings

The consultancy is expected to start in September with two days of onboarding (dates flexible) and continue through March 2023. The consultant will provide in-depth technical support for in-person facilitation with a group of GBV and MHPSS experts working in humanitarian settings; and for tool and resource development related to MHPSS for GBV survivors in humanitarian settings.

UNFPA is seeking a consultant/ or team of consultants to conduct a review dedicated to the GBV AoR going beyond the scope of the 2019 evaluation where aspects of the GBV AOR were addressed in the context of an overall evaluation of humanitarian capacity.
