Protection Project Coordinator

The Protection Project Coordinator (hereafter referred to as “Coordinator”) will be based in Agadez and will be expected to travel to field locations in the north regularly. (S)he will report to Protection Coordinator in Niamey and will oversee at least one Protection Manager. Technical advice will be available through the Violence Prevention and Response Technical Unit. 

Unlocking Refugee Women’s Potential - GWI, IRC 2019

This report, jointly published by the Georgetown Institute for Women, Peace and Security (GIWPS) and the International Rescue Committee (IRC), analyzes and estimates potential gains from the inclusion of refugees, particularly women, in the labour market. It focuses on five countries with large refugee populations that also offer recent information on refugee employment and earnings disaggregated by gender—Turkey, Uganda, Lebanon, Jordan, and Germany—as well as the United States, which hosts a relatively small population of refugees.

Global Safeguarding & PSHEA Technical Advisor (Emergency Response)

The postholder will be responsible for developing and strengthening Plan International’s safeguarding, (particularly with regards to Preventing Sexual Harassment, Exploitation and Abuse (PSHEA) measures and interventions in their emergency response work, supporting country offices to ensure that this is at the core of their emergency response and wider Disaster Risk Management (DRM) work.
