Recent travel restrictions due to COVID-19 prevent the REGA team from providing their normal level of in-country support. Therefore, they have organized a series of short, field-oriented webinars in English and French throughout March and April to ensure that technical support is constant during this global crisis.

Consultant: Mental Health and Psycho-social Support - MHPSS
The MHPSS consultant would support the work of the humanitarian office to develop an operational framework with a focus on concrete actions to be taken by UNFPA going forward, building on work being done. The work will aim to harmonize and foster good practices, and to set limits to ensure that the “Do No Harm” principle is respected in MHPSS programming within GBV and SRH in emergencies. It will include strategies to strengthen UNFPA human resources capacities.

The Regional Emergency Gender-based Violence Advisor (REGA) Team for Asia and the Pacific is pleased to share with you the Advocacy Brief on GENDER and GBV Recommendations for COVID-19.
