Les restrictions de voyage en raison du COVID-19 empêchent l’équipe REGA de fournir son niveau normal de soutien sur le terrain. Par conséquent, l’équipe a organisé une série de webinaires courts et ciblés en anglais et en français tout au long des mois de mars et avril afin d’assurer un soutien technique constant pendant cette période de crise globale.

Webinar: Impact of COVID-19 on women and girls: mitigating GBV risks

Recent travel restrictions due to COVID-19 prevent the REGA team from providing their normal level of in-country support. Therefore, they have organized a series of short, field-oriented webinars in English and French throughout March and April to ensure that technical support is constant during this global crisis.
What will the webinars focus on? These webinars will provide practical guidance on:
1.Impact of COVID-19 on women and girls: mitigating GBV risks
2.Your role as a GBV Specialist/Coordinator: what are the key actions related to COVID-19 that you need to implement?

Consultant: Mental Health and Psycho-social Support - MHPSS

The MHPSS consultant would support the work of the humanitarian office to develop an operational framework with a focus on concrete actions to be taken by UNFPA going forward, building on work being done.  The work will aim to harmonize and foster good practices, and to set limits to ensure that the “Do No Harm” principle is respected in MHPSS programming within GBV and SRH in emergencies. It will include strategies to strengthen UNFPA human resources capacities.

The COVID-19 Outbreak and Gender: Key Advocacy Points from Asia and the Pacific

The Regional Emergency Gender-based Violence Advisor (REGA) Team for Asia and the Pacific is pleased to share with you the Advocacy Brief on GENDER and GBV Recommendations for COVID-19. This is a collective advocacy product that the REGA Team worked on in close collaboration with the Regional Gender in Humanitarian Action (GIHA) Working Group for Asia and the Pacific.
