INVITATION COVID -19 Webinar Series
COVID-19 vaccine and implications for GBV prevention and response in humanitarian settings
When?
25 February, 9.00-10.30am Geneva time / 3.00-4.30pm Bangkok time
What?
On 25 February the GBV AoR will host a webinar focusing on the COVID-19 vaccine rollout and the implications for GBV prevention and response in humanitarian settings. The webinar will bring together GBV practitioners to reflect on key advocacy points and planning needs for the GBV response as it shifts with the vaccination roll-out phase.
The aim is to equip GBV responders with the background and questions they need to ensure that GBV considerations are part of the inter-agency planning for the COVID-19 response across humanitarian settings. Key questions to discuss include:
- What are the potential GBV risks that could emerge with the COVID-19 vaccination process?
- How will the vaccination process potentially affect the continuity of GBV services, including impacts on front-line GBV responders?
- How can humanitarians reduce the GBV risks?
- How can GBV actors maximize the vaccination campaigns to ensure awareness of available GBV services?
Who?
