Effective RCCE is the provision of clear, context appropriate and accountable answers to the questions that matter to affected communities and is an area of aid increasingly seen to require more intentional thought, resourcing and inter-agency coordination. Increasingly, communication is seen no longer a space of innovation, but as fundamental to protection work and humanitarian response. While this holds great opportunity for defining the future of humanitarian response, it also presents risks surrounding the lingering ‘digital divide’, data protection and safeguarding.
Organized by IRC, UNHCR, IOM and UNICEF, this webinar will focus on exploring emerging best practice in digital delivery of RCCE and information services, while creating a space for stakeholders to present risks and opportunities in digital communications.
