The GBV AoR Community of Practice will be hosting a live launch of the GBV AoR Helpdesk’s latest Guidance Note on GBV and Natural Disasters. This webinar will provide listeners with an  introduction to the topic of natural disasters; their likely increase as a result of climate change; and the disproportionate impact they have on women, particularly in terms of increasing their vulnerability to GBV. The webinar will also briefly highlight lessons learnt from recent disasters in the Asia and Pacific region to improve GBV preparedness, response and recovery.
