The GBV Accountability Framework is one of a growing number of global, multi-agency tools and guidance focused on preventing and responding to GBV in Emergencies. The Framework was developed by members of the Global Steering Committee, which includes OFDA, DFID, OCHA, UNICEF, UNHCR, UNFPA, IOM, IRC, NORCAP and CARE.
This webinar will share evidence from the GBV Accountability Framework pilots conducted in Iraq and South Sudan in 2017-2018 and outline how the GBV Accountability Framework can be used by GBV CoP members at country and regional level to increase the profile of IASC commitments made by humanitarian partners and the responsibilities of stakeholders including Humanitarian Coordinators and Humanitarian Country Teams to operationalize commitments made by all humanitarian actors to prevent and respond to GBV.
