Within GWP’s global secretariat, the Senior Gender & Water Specialist will anchor operationalisation of gender dimensions of the new GWP Strategy “Mobilising for a Water Secure World” and more specifically the GWP Gender Strategy and Gender Action Piece. Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, the Senior Gender & Water Specialist will focus on integrating the principles of gender transformative policies and practices into all operational programs designed and implemented across GWP’s network over the next strategy period (2020-2025) by providing an overarching framework to practice gender-inclusive approaches, in consultation with GWP Regional and Country Water Partnerships.
