The Regional GBV Working Group for East and Southern Africa is pleased to invite you to our upcoming Symposium on Gender Transformative Approaches to Engaging Men and Boys in GBV Prevention and Response in Humanitarian Settings. The Symposium will feature key note speakers/experts from various organizations that work toward transforming harmful norms around masculinity as well as parallel sessions on key thematic areas relevant to the subject matter, including intersectionality.     The event will take place 28 June from 9:00am - 5:00pm (EAT).  Arabic and French translation will be provided. 

Le groupe de travail régional sur la VBG pour l'Afrique orientale et australe a le plaisir de vous inviter à son prochain symposium sur les approches transformatrices sur le genre visant particulièrement les hommes et les garçons dans la prévention et la réponse à la VBG dans les contextes humanitaires.  Le symposium réunira en séances plénières des conférenciers/experts de diverses organisations travaillant à la transformation des normes négatives autour de la masculinité ainsi qu'autour de sessions parallèles sur des domaines thématiques clés pertinents au sujet, y compris l'intersectionnalité.  L'événement aura lieu le 28 juin de 9h00 à 17h00 (EAT).  Une traduction arabe et française sera assurée.
