Every 28th of May the world celebrates Menstrual Hygiene Day, a moment to let our voices be heard and advocate for the importance of addressing equitable and dignified menstrual health and hygiene. Humanitarian actors play a crucial role in ensuring that these needs are met for those affected by conflict or natural disaster.
With over 550 million unique engagements in 2021, MH Day is the perfect opportunity to showcase your work on menstrual health and hygiene, share challenges you have encountered, and engage colleagues or partners to illustrate the importance of addressing menstruation in our work. The MHM in Emergencies Working Group has partnered with the International MH Day Secretariat to organize an exclusive webinar for humanitarian actors on "Hosting your own MH Day event".
