CARE is seeking a talented individual to assume the role of Women’s Protection Emergency Response Coordinator who will be responsible for providing technical advice, leadership, and coordination for CARE’s emergency programming in Poland in relation to the Ukraine refugee crisis.
They will be the lead on CARE’s response for women and girls, with a focus on - addressing violence against women and girls (VAWG), including prevention of sexual exploitation and abuse (PSEA), and psychosocial support, well-being, safety, and access to support and services for women and girls. They will work in collaboration and partnership with local and national humanitarian and women’s organizations, groups, and activists to support their vital responses to the crisis in ways that make sense to them and their work and teams, grounded in their experiences, expertise and aims.
