WHO seeks consultants to support the integration of GBV into WHO’s emergency health assistance in humanitarian settings and in the work health cluster/sector. The successful candidate(s) should have demonstrated experience in different aspects of gender-based violence and health programming, including strengthening of health system’s response to GBV, development of training packages and training on GBV for humanitarian workers, managing programs for GBV survivors in humanitarian settings, and monitoring and evaluation.  Professional expertise in health sector response to GBV is also required.  

Deliverables

Output 1: Provide training support on the health response to GBV in project pilot countries 

Activity 1.1: Deliver (or co-deliver) trainings on the health response.  Provide country-level support following or preceding trainings, both remotely and in-person. 
Activity 1.2 Draft training report following each country-level training. 
Activity 1.3 Develop a training package to accompany WHO guidance and resources
Activity 1.4 Develop a monitoring and evaluation process to assess the impact of the training and make recommendations for any follow up.

Output 2: Conduct technical support missions to support the development of workplans with the Health Cluster in target countries. 

Activity 2.1: Carry out scoping missions to newly graded emergencies or support missions to countries with ongoing activities.
