The course is centered on the case management approach to GBV and includes 5 topics that reflect the project cycle. The course covers the essential skills required to prepare, design, implement and monitor projects designed to achieve gender-based violence outcomes using cash and vouchers.
The course targets protection, gender and gender-based violence personnel who work in crisis situations. At the end of this course, participants will be able to:
1. Explain how cash and voucher assistance can contribute to the objectives of responding to gender-based violence.
2. Determine if and how cash and voucher assistance is an appropriate way to support a comprehensive response to gender-based violence.
3. Identify the roles of the different teams to effectively integrate cash and voucher assistance into the GBV response throughout the project cycle.
4. Determining transfer value and delivery mechanisms for using cash and vouchers in response to gender-based violence.
5. Determine the information required for monitoring and evaluation of cash and voucher assistance built into the response to gender-based violence.
