An important part of the job is to train, guide and support relevant staff at the different NCA country offices around the world on GBViE programmes, but also strengthening GBV prevention, protection and response in NCA’s partners’ humanitarian interventions. You will be an integral part of NCA's programmes on Gender-based violence in conflict, post-conflict and humanitarian crisis. You can expect frequent travels, both to NCA’s country offices as well as in humanitarian responses.
It is a permanent position which is based at NCA Head Office in Oslo, Norway, in the Humanitarian Division. The division is responsible for the implementation of NCA’s Humanitarian Strategy, humanitarian thematic programme development, and innovation, as well as contributing towards global humanitarian thematic policy and advocacy efforts.
