Women around the world have lived experiences that are different from men, informed by norms that perpetuate gender inequality. This gender inequality in turn underpins multiple forms of violence that women and girls are exposed to across their lives. Women’s organizations with expertise in addressing GBV are often best- placed to identify and meet the needs of women and girls affected by GBV in their communities, as well as to undertake contextually relevant strategies to prevent GBV. This document was developed to identify potential sources of funding for local women’s organizations. This list of donors is not exhaustive but serves as a starting point
