The GBV & Protection in Emergencies Advisor will support GBViE and protection activities relating to emergency preparedness as well as deploying to support start-up and scale-up of humanitarian responses, with a global remit.

The role will provide in-country and remote technical assistance – with a particular focus on GBV response – to country offices and regional teams implementing humanitarian responses across CARE’s Asia-Pacific, as a priority.  Additional technical assistance will be provided to Latin America & Caribbean and West Africa regions, complementing technical expertise of other GiE, GBViE and protection colleagues at country, regional and global levels.
