IRC – GBV Psychosocial Support Training of Trainers

The GBV Psychosocial Support Training of Trainers conducted by IRC will take place from September 2-11 2019 in Bangkok, Thailand. This training will focus on increasing skills in psychosocial concepts and methods for use in group interventions. It will also train on the IRC’s GBV group curriculum, Women Rise. In this training, participants will:

  • Develop group facilitation skills
  • Develop understanding of how to maintain group safety, individual safety in groups and re-establish group safety during difficult situations in groups.
  • Understand Mental Health conditions and their potential impact on psychosocial groups
  • Understand preparation and pre-group considerations to ensure successful psychosocial groups
  • Understand key skills and learning for facilitators of psychosocial groups
  • Understand supervision skills, structure, and importance for the facilitators of psychosocial groups
  • Understand ideal monitoring and evaluation methods for psychosocial groups
