Save the Children UK are recruiting a Humanitarian Sexual and Gender-based Violence Advisor to join the Humanitarian Technical Unit based in London. This is an 18 month role that will sit within the Child Protection team and will work cross-thematically with education, livelihoods and health teams. The purpose of the role is to ensure that a focus on prevention of and response to SGBV is integrated in to prioritised humanitarian response strategies with a particular focus on our responses in conflict. The incumbant will lead the development of multi-sectoral process, tools and guidance on preventing and responding to SGBV in humanitarian contexts. They will be deployed up to 50% of the time, supporting the implementation of prevention and response strategies in our humanitarian responses.
